Dr. Smith has developed a 7,500 patient fee for service practice in Tipp City, Ohio. Although he has worked hard to develop his skills (he’s a master in the Academy of General Dentistry), he attributes most of his extraordinary growth/development to his work with the American Society of Quality’s Baldrige Award process. The Baldrige Award is to quality organizations as his mastership is to quality dentistry. HealthPark has been awarded state level awards every year they have applied. These business/ organizational principles are used throughout the training manuals to provide integrated approaches to staff management as well as patient satisfaction.
Another key has been HealthPark’s association with the Accreditation Association of Ambulatory Health Care. This national organization evaluates the delivery of quality care in much the same way (JCAHO) evaluates and accredits hospitals.
Another unique factor is the constant input from HealthPark’s specialists (orthodontics, pediatrics, and periodontics) and the other general practitioners. Each of us practices a little differently, and all of these problems and successes have been woven into these manuals as well.
However, our greatest strength is Jill Nesbitt, B.A., and MBA. She has managed HealthPark since 1997 and is a Baldrige examiner. It is Jill that coordinates all the staff, resources, and docs, to achieve knock your sockets off service for all our clients.
The final product of all this is our training manuals. A reference source for every significant topic dentists deals with on a day to day basis. Read, learn, enjoy, and share your ideas with us at www.healthparkdentistry.com or 1-800-729-1548
